This page is a curated timeline of my creative journey before becoming a "professional" - from brand strategy and social growth to experiments in design, film, and storytelling. Spanning over a decade, these projects reflect both where I started and the throughline of a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. This is not everything, just some work I'm proud of.

WildeAesthetics

Led content and marketing strategy for WildeAesthetics, a fitness and wellness coaching brand. My work spanned from hands-on content creation to automation and strategic advising. I developed content calendars, scripted and edited 100+ short-form videos, and introduced a brand identity system that improved conversion rates. I had an active role which moved to advisory since 2024.

BBA in Marketing

Well, I did spend most of life between 2018 and 2022 studying marketing. As a result, I created a lot of insightful, research driven and creative projects. Often in group settings, it was fun to brainstorm, collaborate and achieve objectives set for us. Everything from ad creation, market research, design, customer journey mapping to film.

Film.

During COVID lockdowns, I became obsessed with filmography, cinematography and taking my writing game to another level. I wanted to make a solid portfolio of creative pieces as working in Creative Strategy was a dream. But, I ended up switching focuses to pursue jobs in corporate sales and abandoned these - even though they were really fun.

2019

As a side hustle, I became the go to guy for creative strategy, design and video work for a few up and coming local artists (primarily hip-hop). Also did modelling shoots. The videos feel too cringe now, so I'll save you the trouble of watching them :)

Straven Marketing

At 16 years old, I launched my own agency after learning marketing through Gary Vee, Tai Lopez, and targeted courses covering paid media, web development, and creative production. I secured a handful of clients, mainly for website and logo design work, by going door-to-door in the Canadian winter to build my client base. While the revenue was modest, this has to be the project I am most proud of. It taught me essential business skills and pushed me outside my comfort zone as a naturally reserved person. It laid the foundation for my marketing career and demonstrated my early drive to learn and execute in digital marketing.

Young Creative

Growing up in a low-income household, I found my creative escape through an old, barely-functioning laptop my mom had. Starting in 2012, I taught myself Adobe Creative Suite and discovered my passion for visual storytelling. By middle school, I was creating special effects and collaborating with friends on short films. This early experience with limited resources taught me to be resourceful and innovative -qualities that have shaped my creative approach ever since. When I say I've always been a creative, I mean it.

Finding my way back...

Over the years, much of my work has been lost, but my passion for creativity, business, and storytelling has remained constant. Being naturally smart and good in school led teachers and family to push me toward 'practical' paths - first biology and chemistry in high school, then finance in university to chase financial security. Even after switching to marketing, I detoured into sales, still chasing money over passion. At 25, I've learned that excellence without genuine interest only goes so far. I'm ready to channel my proven capabilities into work that actually drives me. If you've made it this far, you might have the opportunity that lets me finally align my skills with my calling. With this much clarity, experience and drive, I will make the most of any opportunity presented to me.
